Analogue Izod / Charpy Impact Tester

Specification :

• Impact energy : 0-21.68 Joules.

• Release angle of pendulum : 150°.

• Range of four scales : 0-2.71 Joules, 0-5.42 Joules, 0-10.84 Joules & 0-21.68 Joules.

• Minimum resolution on scale : 0.02 Joule, 0.05 Joule, 0.1 Joule & 0.2 Joule respectively.

• Maximum permissible loss by friction : 0.5 % of the scale referred.

• Hammers : 2 nos. of hard chrome plated hammers one each for Izod & Charpy tests for lowest scale would be supplied. Incremental plates would be supplied which could be attached to this hammers to convert them into hammers for 2nd , 3rd & 4th scale.

• Vise : Hard chrome plated vise for Izod & charpy test would be provided.

• Paint : Powder coated.

• Display : Direct display of impact energy in joules and corresponding angle in degrees on digital indicator.

• Printout : Impact energy Vs Angular displacement graph and numeric report such as Party's name, address, sample thickness, length, width, type of test, scale referred, impact strength as per ASTM standard, as per IS standard in different units could be obtained by attaching a PC to the unit. A window based software would be provided and installed in your PC.
