Tape testing equipment measures the peel adhesion, tensile strength, elongation and shear properties of adhesive tapes, BOPP packaging tapes and stretch films. A Universal Testing Machine or dedicated peel tester grips the tape and pulls it from a standard surface at a controlled angle and speed, recording the adhesion force, while tensile tests characterise the backing film's strength and elongation.
