Film Sealing Parameters — Two Temperature Zones to 200 °C

Heat Sealer

A laboratory heat sealer to determine the suitable sealing parameters of films — with two temperature zones, a pneumatically operated sealing jaw and controlled dwell, so you can map the optimum sealing window.

  • Two temperature zones, auto-tuned PID up to 200 °C (0.1 °C resolution)
  • One fixed and one pneumatically operated sealing jaw
  • Sealing area 150 mm × 20 mm; 50 mm daylight
  • Compact table-top model
Made in IndiaISO 9001:2015CE CertifiedExported to 60+ countries
Overview

Find the seal window before it fails in production

Seal quality is governed by temperature, pressure and dwell time. A laboratory heat sealer makes controlled seals across a range of these settings so the optimum sealing window can be mapped; the seals are then peeled on a tensile or peel tester to measure seal strength.

International Equipments builds a heat sealer with two independently controlled temperature zones (auto-tuned PID up to 200 °C), a pneumatically operated sealing jaw and a 150 × 20 mm seal area, to determine the suitable sealing parameters of films. Table-top, manufactured in Mumbai, CE marked and calibration-certified.

How the test works

Step by step

  1. Set the temperatureSet the two jaw temperature zones (up to 200 °C) on the auto-tuned PID controller.
  2. Set pressure & dwellSet the pneumatic clamping and the dwell time.
  3. Make the sealThe pneumatic jaw closes and seals a 150 × 20 mm strip of the film.
  4. EvaluatePeel the sealed sample on a tensile or peel tester to find the optimum sealing window.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does the heat sealer determine?
The suitable sealing parameters of films — it makes controlled seals at set temperature, pressure and dwell so you can map the optimum sealing window; seal strength is then measured on a tensile or peel tester.
Why two temperature zones?
Independent control of the two jaws gives an even, accurate seal temperature across the film, which matters for thicker or asymmetric structures.
What is the seal size?
The sealing area is 150 mm long × 20 mm wide, with 50 mm daylight, on a compact table-top frame.
Do you export it with documentation?
Yes — CE marked, voltage-configured and shipped with a calibration certificate to 60+ countries.
