A halogen moisture analyser rapidly determines the moisture content of polymer granules, powders and raw materials by the loss-on-drying principle. A weighed sample is heated by a halogen lamp while an integral balance continuously tracks weight loss; when the weight stabilises, the instrument calculates and displays the moisture percentage.
