
A digital density apparatus that measures the density and specific gravity of plastics and rubber by the specific-gravity (displacement) method, using a digital weighing balance with 1 mg resolution.
Density quickly identifies a polymer grade, verifies specification and flags filler-loading or contamination changes — often before they reach production. It is found by weighing a specimen in air and in liquid and applying Archimedes principle (the specific-gravity method).
