Rubber Testing Equipments

Thermal and impact instruments for rubber and thermoplastics — softening point, heat deflection, oxidation induction and ash content — to ASTM and ISO methods.

Rubber Testing Equipments
Overview

Thermal behaviour and durability under stress

Rubber and engineering thermoplastics are judged on how they hold up under heat and stress: the temperature at which they soften or deflect, how long they resist oxidation, and how much residue remains on combustion. These properties predict service life and processing behaviour.

International Equipments builds this thermal and impact group in-house in Mumbai and exports it to 50+ markets, each instrument mapped to the relevant ASTM/ISO method, CE marked and calibration-certified.

FAQ

Rubber Testing Equipments — questions

What is the difference between Vicat softening point and HDT?
Vicat softening point (VSP) measures the temperature at which a needle penetrates the material under load; heat deflection temperature (HDT) measures where a bar deflects under bending load. Both run on the VSP/HDT apparatus per ASTM D1525 and D648.
What is oxidation induction time used for?
OIT indicates the effectiveness of antioxidants in polyolefins — a key durability check for pipes, cables and geomembranes, per ISO 11357 / ASTM D3895.
Do you export rubber testing equipments?
Yes — CE marked, voltage-configured and shipped with calibration certificates to 50+ countries.
