Pipe impact standards require specimens to be conditioned at 0 °C for a set time before testing, because plastics become markedly more brittle in the cold. Testing without proper conditioning gives scattered, non-comparable results.
International Equipments builds a digital zero degree chamber that holds pipe samples at a stable 0 °C until they are transferred to the impact tester, meeting IS 4984 and IS 12235 (Part 9). The inner bath is stainless steel, the outer body mild steel, and the compressor is CFC-free. Manufactured in Mumbai and CE marked.
