SS Tank for Hydrostatic Pressure Testing

A double-walled, insulated stainless steel water tank for immersing pressurised pipe samples during hydrostatic testing — with stainless steel manifolds and quick-release couplings for easy hose handling.

  • Double-walled, well-insulated tank — insulated doors too
  • Capacity from 200 litres to 5000 litres
  • Stainless steel manifolds with quick-release couplings, inside & out
  • Pairs directly with the hydrostatic pressure panel

Overview

The temperature-controlled bath behind valid ISO 1167 tests

Hydrostatic testing is a water-in-water method: the pressurised pipe samples must sit in a bath held at a precisely controlled temperature. Temperature stability directly affects the validity of the result, so the tank is double-walled and well insulated, with insulated doors.

International Equipments builds the tank in stainless steel with wall-mounted manifolds and quick-release couplings inside and out, so hoses from the panel to the pipe samples are handled easily. It connects to the hydrostatic pressure panel as a complete pipe-testing system; capacity is configured from 200 to 5000 litres.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why is a temperature-controlled tank needed?
Hydrostatic testing is a water-in-water method — sample temperature must be held constant because pipe strength is temperature-dependent. The double-walled, insulated tank provides that stable environment.
What capacity is available?
From 200 litres to 5000 litres, configured to your pipe diameters and specimen count.
What are the quick-release couplings for?
The stainless steel manifolds have quick-release couplings inside and out for easy handling of the hoses running from the panel to the pipe samples.
Does it work with the pressure panel?
Yes — it is designed to pair directly with our hydrostatic pressure panel as a complete system.
